Does anyone know if the Internet Explorer 8 update rearranges your favorite links into alphabetical order?
I only use IE 7.0 for prod artwork link saving and clicking those old links. I use Firefox for everything else. It's too easy to accidentally delete and lose links with Firefox. Microsoft really wants everyone to update to IE 8.0 so I keep getting the "click here to update" popup/icon every time I turn on the computer now.
Will updating to IE 8.0 rearrange all my links again?
I just upgraded a day or two ago, and when I checked my favorites a second ago, they seemed to be in the exact same order they were in when I had IE7. So, yes, they are still a mess. No automatic alphabetizing here!
I'll see what I can do to update later on. I spent awhile rearranging my links after I updated to Firefox. Then I rearranged more to get them how I wanted. Then my new computer went down so I had to rearrange them again.
I'd hate to rearrange them again for the fourth time in a short time, but if it happens it happens.
