No actual artwork this time (even though I really should update some sketches... soon...) But I got fed up with my own site and the amount of clicking I had to do to get anywhere, so I redid the nav, but didn't really change the layout much. But while I was at it, I redid some of the graphics, on the cel gallery main page, the update page, and same for the genga section. So check them out!
I did contemplate combining the cel and genga galleries into one, but then it became a jumbled mess and I decided it's best to leave them separated. ^^;; Anyway, comments are welcome. Thanks for looking! (real update next time....)

Sensei wanders in and is never seen again on earth
It is very enticing: uncluttered and focused on the art. I had an especially good time going through the miscellaneous sections, which have some gorgeous treasures. The new format is very easy to navigate and you have a really fine touch for how much (or little) to say about each item. Thanks for the upgrade.

Fussy note follows...gomen
PS: for some reason when I click on this item (a sketch of Raphael from TnN) I go to the copy layout rather than to the (rather elegant) Hitomi Kato rough sketch. That too gives the lie to the standard thinking that good animation art has to show the character's eyes. Knowing the scene, it's far more powerful with Raph's head averted. (Also a good reference for cosplay, if you know where to get so many belts.)
I've seen that box on some of my other TnN sketches. It's an indication for a light effect. In the whole sequence the top right corner is washed out a little and the lower left is darkened to create a "sunset" effect. You can see if you go to the end of the "jasmine jelly" scene in Episode 20. (The layout says Episode 21, but that's because of the notorious "lost Tennimon episode" that was evidently made but never released, throwing off most of the episode numbers in the studio notations by one.)
You may know this, but this cel of yours is the end key for the same cut, so you have both the start and end images. Gorgeous color, powerful moment.
Sensei continues to try to find his way back out.

Thanks for visiting the newly decorated site Sensei! ^__^
I didn't know that there's a "lost" TnN episode. O_O Thanks for the info! You're a wealth of knowledge as usual. ^_^

I visited you website and your DeviantArt page, and the first thing I'll say is that your Toothless plushie is absolutely cute, and very well made <3! You even made the piece of leather for his tail! Wonderful!
The Aragorn one is also impressive, with the little pices of jewelery... Cute and beautifully made.
Concerning your website, I found it pleasant to visit, your drawings are very nice ^^ .
My favorite pieces are:

Of course, he's my favorite character with Lucciola ^^ . Interesting format, coming from an interesting scene... I mean, when I remember it, I picture a more joyful Dio, but he seems to be quite serious here. Now I feel like watching the scene more attentively

I'm always happy to discover new Murata's autographs! I like Alex's expression here, with an almost imperceptible smile... You're very lucky

The Twins are also my favorites... So mischievous!

This Shigure sketch is so funny!

The green palette is beautiful.
And this one, even if I don't know the series:

Thanks for visiting Yume Hime! Last Exile sketches are so few and far between, I'm fortunate to get the ones that I got. You have quite a nice collection there yourself!
