RS spammage

Anyone else getting a lot of spam emails through their rubberslug website? I usually get one or two during the year. It's no big deal. I just delete them and move on. But now I'm getting at least one a week if not more. Today, I got 3!

I wonder if the new rubberslug will change the amount of spammage or not.

But dont you wanna consolidate your loans?? Or better yet
claim your UK lottery prize of 32 million pounds?!?!

I use to get them sporadically, about 1 every few months,
then it got worse. So I no longer use the email account
RS is hooked up to. Which makes me feel guilty that
legit collectors/visitors that have e-mailed may be wondering
why I haven't replied back. @_@

Yeah, I use an email account for RS that gets its share of spam too. My Yahoo account gets the most but that's because I'll hand that out to all those stores, etc that require I give an email address. My Hotmail account gets things like RS that I'd want to see but could cause spammage. There's my work account, which I only use for work related stuff. And I have my main email address as well as a brand new one that only 3 people know about. LOL I had to get it for my new phone.

The spam that I've been getting is all those squares and symbols.

i've noticed it too. rubberslug spam has gotten really bad in recent weeks. i get daily spam via rubberslug.

oddly, genuine messages bounce from my rubberslug. so why does the spam get through?

I started a gmail account exclusively as a spam trap for RS junk. It's such a black hole that actually I'm now hardly getting any. (I do check every couple of weeks to find the occasional legit message.)

And some of those offshore herbal cigarettes are kinda funky yknow?

Spam from RS is fairly sporadic with me. Some months I get no spam messages, other months I get one or two a week. *shrugs* I have my RS account hooked to my normal e-mail account. It doesn't bother me. I don't receive enough spam to make it worth my while to create an e-mail account specifically for RS messages.
