1000 Members of Beta!

I was looking around Beta and scrolled to the bottom and noticed we now have 1000 members of the site

Just remembering the past years on here...wow how time goes by.

That's a noteworthy landmark, as it shows continuing interest in anime art collecting and attraction to this site as a meeting place. But I was more impressed when I did the bean-counting part of the "Love and War" ethnography last year and found that 224 individual members had visited the site at least once during the first three months. That represented 23% of all the persons who had everregistered at the forum. Of these, 128 persons who had been active members for five years or more were still visiting and posting.

Considering that all of us doubtless register for a lot more sites that we actually visit on any regular basis, those are pretty impressive figures.
