Last week I tried to watch my favorite anime first and work my way down. This week I made it a priority to watch my least favorite anime first:
Himawari 2 (okay/fair - 5.2):
I didn't like this episode as much as the first. The second episode was much more serious, mellow and slow. It felt as though I was watching a middle or late episode instead of a second episode. I think it would have had a lot more meaning if I had gotten to know her character better before this story was shown. Well whatever. As others have said, the animation for the second episode was pretty nice.
Utawarerumono 3 (okay/decent - 5.5):
Okay...no big secret here. One reason I like this show is because of the female characters. I like it for other reasons too, but that's the biggest reason. This episode introduced three female characters and a couple of male characters. It should be interesting to see where they all fit into the whole scheme of things.
.hack//ROOTS 2 (okay/fair - 5.2):
Pretty slow start for the series, but I'll still watch it for now.
Yume Tsukai 2:
I skimmed through this just to be sure of how much I like it. It was another shamanic battle with a girl's bad dream, but this time they had the assistance of a shamanic male character. I'm still not into this so I'm definitely dropping this now.
Yoshinaga-san Uchi no Gargoyle 3:
This one was about Lili the ?telepath and the Magician thief. I kept hearing those Japanese words said so often during "Full Metal Alchemist".

This series is alternately funny and sad. Unfortunately I'm not able to get into this series so I'm going to have to drop it.
Witchblade 3 (okay - 5.4):
A pretty fun episode. I would prefer if her figure wasn't so lopsided however. I'm curious what's in store for next week.
Hime-sama Goyoujin 2 (fair - 5.1):
I didn't like this episode as much as the first one. I found the first seven minutes funny, but the main girl spends most of the rest of the episode crying because of the crazy situations she was put in. That was funny at the start, but got to be pretty annoying after awhile. Some of the jokes I found funny, but there were too many other things that brought me down from those jokes and they stifled the humor. I'm going to have to drop this series.
Inukami! 3 (fair - 5.1):
I didn't like this episode as much as the first two. It didn't feel very funny. It seemed rather predictable and cliched. This was more like an Urusei Yatsura episode than the previous eps. I hope the next episode will be more creative and less cliched.
High School Girls 2 (mediocre - 4.1):
I had a difficult time getting through this. I found it unpleasant. I'm not going to be watching this any more.
Saiunkoku Monogatari 2 (okay - 5.4):
I liked this episode much more than the first. We got some backstory on the characters here and I found it fairly funny too. It's nice to have an admirable anime lead instead of the usual arrogant, wimpy or young, inexperienced, inarticulate, confused displaced newbie types that we usually get. The artwork is growing on me too.I find it pretty ironic that Hikaru Midorikawa (Tamahome), Tomokazu Seki (Chichiri) and Akemi Okamura (Yuiren) are contributing their voice talents to this series (Hikaru Midorikawa especially). Everytime I hear Hikaru Midorikawa's character speak I'm reminded of Tamahome because of the similar settings. I'm putting Saiunkoku Monogatari on my "regular watch" list for now.
Soul Link 3 (fair - 5.15):
Some of the stuff they're doing continues to feel militarily implausible and ridiculous, but I will continue to persevere with this series. As the Tick says, "Must go on....must...go...on".
Shoujo Changumu no Yume 2 (okay/fair - 5.2):
It's odd that it took me so long to realize that Miki Itou (Asa in Shuffle!) does Changumu's voice. But it finally came to me after hearing the way she voiced one tiny phrase. This episode continued the cooking competions which made me think of "Cooking Master Boy" and Yakitate! Japan" again.

I don't think I'll watch any more of this because of the TYPE of story it is. This would be a good show to watch with your kids however.
Sasami ~ Mahou Shoujo Club 2 (fair - 5.15):
Between the three lead voice actreses we have so far (Sasami, Misao and Makoto) I'd still have to say that I like Sasami's the most. Misao's and Makoto's sound a bit flat at times, but I'll take that as a given since they are only fifteen and thirteen years old respectively. I'm going to watch this just to hear how the other two seiyuu sound.
Suzumiya Haruhi no Yutsu 2-3 (okay/decent - 5.5):
Pretty enjoyable show. I'm going to have to agree with those who have stated that KyoAni are the "gods of animation". I'm going to have to make it a priority to watch everything that KyoAni (and Gonzo) make in the future (if they fit my interests that is).
Fate/stay night 16 (decent/fairly good - 5.7):
Pretty cool, amusing and yet revealing at the same time. *cough* *cough* Oh, oh...look at that final scene there. Not good.
School Rumble 2nd Term 2-3 (ep. 2 okay - 5.25, ep. 3 okay - 5.4):
I thought the second episode was "alright", but the third made me smile. I think I'm getting used to this show now.
Simoun 2-3 (ep. 2 - okay/fair - 5.2, ep. 3 - fair - 5.0):
The second episode was kind of slow paced, but thoughtful. Many of the scenes had airy violin music playing in the background. The third episode felt rather boring to me because 93 percent of the first seventeen minutes consisted only of standing around dialog, transition scenes or flashbacks. It was only until the final five minutes when the characters started moving around much.

The main plot still hasn't been revealed. I'm afraid I'm going to have to pass on this series because it's just too slow and not interesting enough for me to continue.
TOKKO 1 (fair - 5.15):
There's not much I like at all about this series. I didn't care for the characters, the story, the coolness factor, the animation or the action scenes. So I won't be watching any more of it.
Black Lagoon 2 (okay - 5.25):
Okay...I'm not sure whether that move should make me crap in my pants or make me bust out laughing. Maybe a little of both. LOL I might watch another episode of this, but I can't quite call this a "regular watch" any longer.
Alright, it's getting too late to watch anything else. I need to surf Yahoo Japan before going to sleep. I'll have to see Zegapain 3, hack//ROOTS 3, Higurashi 3 and Ouran 3 later.
Here's my updated watch list:
1. Utawarerumono 1-3 (okay/decent - 5.5)
2. Ohran High School Host Club 1-2 (okay/decent - 5.5) - Pretty fun so far.
