The Lady Oscar description with the rays of light:
"Akio Sugino - original handwriting genga. 325 x 265 with guarantee. y1,000,000"
Oops, I mistyped the price. Now that you've seen that, anything it sells for will seem affordable, so go for it.
Here's what it really says:
"Akio Sugino - original handwriting genga. 325 x 265 with guarantee. y100000"

This is the English part of the description they gave for it:indy wrote:hey gota question someone mentioned a toshinden hanken, (don't need a scan but wondering of what character and opening bid?
"Battle Arena Toshinden-hanken cel * 420 X 300 * with guarantee cels are stuck together [25,000 yen]"
So the starting bid is 25,000 yen.
I don't know the Toshinden characters, but there are four characters pictured in the cel. In the top left corner is a mostly waist up shot showing a woman with long blonde hair wearing what looks like grayish/purple colored ?armor. In the top center is a relatively small full length view of a bluish long haired ??guy wearing white with purple stripe outfit. In the middle right side of the cel there's a waist/knees up view of a guy with ?dark gray or ?black long hair. He's wearing a loose purple outfit (at least on the top part). Taking up mostly the bottom half of the cel is a guy with long orange hair. He's wearing round purple glasses and pointing a large gun in the general direction of the viewer.

Pretty please?
Keropi,
Would you PLEASE be so kind as to post a picture of the Armitage item? And the opening bid?
I'm still new enough to not understand what mandrake is, or how it works.
Can anyone explain for me?
It seems to be an auction site of it's own...correct me if I'm wrong...but it's only for Japanese businesses? No private parties?
I understand I'll have to register with a CC...but do I get an ID? How does it work?
Thank you sooo much!
marie:)

Roughly four times a year Mandarake comes out with a Zenbu catalog. Three of them are for Big Web Auctions (online auctions). One of them is for their annual lottery (the one in the Fall). The one in January is going to be a Big Web Auction. You'd have to register with Mandarake to bid. If you're already registered to bid in their Everyday Auctions you don't have to re-register for the Big Web Auction. They put up the Big Web Auction items a few days before the auctions begin on their website. If you decide you want to bid on something there you can pay a fee of 550 yen (or US $5.00) to bid in the Big Web Auction.fetish4minx wrote: It seems to be an auction site of it's own...correct me if I'm wrong...but it's only for Japanese businesses? Fortunately I don't see anything that interests me too much. I saved sixteen storyboards, sketches and settings to My Page, but didn't save any cels.
Looks like they changed the description of the Zenbu mislabeled "Jojo's Bizarre Adventure sketches" to Yoshio Kabashima sketches, but then they went and mislabeled ?Jungle Tantei sketches as Jojo's sketches.

They have something labelled the Perrine Story that is quite obviously Sailormoon, and the cel after is labelled as 6 Kenshin cels with background, but I have no idea what it is (not Kenshin). There is also something called Hoshi no Orpheus which is clearly a Pocket Monsters/Pokemon cel. I wonder just how many blunders there are...

I hope they correct all the mislabeled items before the auctions get started.
Now I'm going to have to double check to be sure if a couple of the Doukyuusei 2 storyboards are from those episodes. It would be harder for them to make a mistake with those since they have the title and probably the episode number on the front page, but I wasn't able to recognize the scenes that they posted so I had better be sure.
Not sure if I will bid on any of them, but I might change my mind.
