Oo! Oo! Don't tell me how it ends! Of course now I'll be watching closely to see what happens with Dio...
I just ordered the last DVD today (I'm putting it under "household goods" in quicken so my husband won't notice until it's too late!
)
It'll be a few weeks, though, before it comes in...
I'll try to write back after I've seen it.

I really loved Last Exile! (Got to see the entire series on TechTV.) I will definitely be buying the boxset if/when it comes out.
I'm not sure about Dio though. Guess I'll just have to watch the last episode again.
I have a guess but won't say anything for aernath's sake.
Too bad LE sketches cost so much and seem to be so rare.

You're welcome!aernath wrote:Thanks! I appreciate that!

I've seen three sketch sets on Mandarake's Everday auction. They sold for approximately between $950 and $3,000. I can get you the exact price for each auction and how many sketches were in each auction when I get home if you really want to know.aernath wrote:I haven't seen any sketches at all!

Holeeee CRAP! That's like, the cost of my entire collection... and it's grandchildren!!!!!
Ok... so I probably won't have any of those in my gallery any time soon. (soon = the next thirty years)
I've just recently figured out how to get signed up to bid at Mandarake. I'm still a newbie at finding cels. I bid on one auction once just to try it out. Didn't win. *sniff* It was a half-dream cel: Ranma-chan instead of Ranma-kun.
...crap.... EACH auction, hu? ....calculating how long it would take to pay THAT off... (about thirty years?)
[still don't have this quote thing figured out]

Okay, my husband and I just got done watching the Last Last Exile, and we were keeping an eye on Dio... um...
um... ya got me.
Cool spoiler button!
after laughing our butts off about the lack of seatbelts (we thought! until Dio crawls over the back and sees the empty seatbelt in back!), it certainly looks like he takes a header into the grand stream just like Alex's flame did (seatbelts, anyone?). But then, yeah, we definitely hear Dio's voice in the engine room of the Sylvana later on. Kind of a 'that's where his spirit went to stay?', because he was happiest there? |
Cool spoiler button!
