Updating my website for the last time this year with a SUPER AWESOME cel of Donald Duck. This is my first non-Anime and signed cel I have ever purchased. Normally, I would hate getting cels with signatures, but since this was of the original voice actor of Donald (THE character I grew up with as a kid), I made the exception. :D

Also, what are everyone's thoughts about collecting vintage (or non-vintage) American cels? Genergally, I have found these to be far more expensive when compared to regular Anime cels. But, I have also noticed that Anime cels have a greater tendency to drastically increase/decrease in value in a shorter time frame than do American cels (older Disney and Warner Brother Cels), which retain most of their value throughout time.

I have always had my favourite character being Goofy as I grew up as a child. I hope I can find Disney cels, but I find them so difficult to find that I have given up for a while. But your post makes me want to continue my search and it makes me happy to see that somebody has such a lovely cel of Donald Duck and that it will be kept safely in a great gallery! :^^: This post has somewhat inspired me to go on with my little hunt. Thank you! :^^:

If you need any "leads" with finding certain cels, just let me know. I have been doing a bit of hunting myself for the past few weeks. However, most of my good (affordable) finds were on Ebay.

Awesome, awesome update, Star Phoenix!! I really love that cel of Donald ... I think it captures his personality beautifully. I think it's a wonderful addition to an already spectacular collection.

I don't own any non-anime cels. I have thought of getting Tick cels, just because I loved that show so much. But, so far, I keep finding anime cels I want more.

Ahem ... *koff .. koff*

Not that I'm addicted or anything ... nope ... not me. I can stop any time I want. No ... really.
