Well...I absolutely ADORED Neon Genesis Evangelion's ending.

But then...I'm really quite an odd person.

My vote has to go to Berserk.
Mostly because you're lovin' it...lovin' in...lonvin' it.....WTF!?!!!?!!!
And you are left in pain...wanting to know more...but not wanting to SEE more!

Pity I love Berserk...I must find and read the manga everyone keeps talking about!

I'll have to go with Akira and GITS too, although I loved the manga series and the visual aspects of the movies, they just weren't meant to be turned into movies.

I still don't understand how anyone could fall asleep during the explosion-fest that is Akira.

I must admit I liked the ending also. The theological/philosophical/psychological aspect was tough to chew but it suited the series perfectly. I was still left with quite a lot od questions concerning the intrigue amongst all the different fractions involved with EVA.

Id have to say that hack//sign was a bit of a let down in the ending department.

Shame cause it did have nice art too it.

I liked NGE's ending too.

As for worst ending I have ever seen......Gilgamesh would be #1 for me. But then that was a pretty horrible series to start off with and I'm still not sure why I watched it to the end....

I've only seen a few David Lynch films...but yes...I definately like those too. More so before I was a mother...but yes.
