The price doesn't really surprise seeing as how Hanken cels generally go for $1000+ a piece. I guess the same holds true for CG Hanken Genga.

The Fullmetal Alchemist hankens go for $300-500 a piece. So, thsi seems a bit much, even for Naruto. Do they even look like they are originals? Or are they photocopies? I can't tell with Mandarake and they still have not e-mailed back.

Grr. I finally got an answer from Mandarake, who basically told me to check out the new auction description:

Total: 20 Sheet Set
Hanken Rough Genga 17 sheets (original)
Copies 3 sheets

Included characters:
Naruto, Gaara, Kiba, Lee, Sasuke, Shikamaru, and Kakashi.

In spite of the fact that I specifically asked about which characters are copies and which are originals, they gave me nuthin'. Oh, well. Unless someone can get a more solid answer out of them, I'd call this a risky gamble.

Yeah, that's the reply I got too. Kakashi!! But, yeah, since 3 are copies... ugh.. that would suck if Kakashi was one of the copies.

Well, it doesn't scare me any. I am still in. I just wish I knew
what the other sketches looked like. It would help to have definate
people who were going in on it since it is up over $1200. But,
its a risk you take.

*Sigh* When it comes to that much money, I must admit to being the nervous type. I wrote to them and asked again for info on copies vs originals, so I'll post if they answer.

I got an e-mail about which are copies from Mandarake

Hello Angela,

Thank you for your e-mail.

Characters of three copies are Sasuke, Lee, and Kiba.
Image #1 and #2 are original and #3 maybe original but I saw similar
image of copy.

Still only half an answer for me, though. Since there is apparently an original Kiba and a copy Kiba, the same could be true for Sasuke. I'll just have to wait and see.
