Heee. Mee too.

Oh and the artwork in Tactics... its inconsistent. It is either really amazingly gorgeous (Haruka... 'nuff said) or looks like the "C" team did it.

Don't want to leave the impression that I don't LIKE it. I'd kill for a repro cel from the opening.

I'm watching Ultimate Girls and I'm not sure why. The Tsukuyomi and Sailor Moon cosplay parody costumes in episode five were kinda cool though nyan. /no1

I'm not sure why I watched Battle Programmer Shirase either. There were a lot of outrageous loli jokes in there, but somehow I managed to get through the entire series. 8O

I can't recommend either of these anime. :P

For me, I DID like I, My, Me Strawberry eggs but I could only take so much after a while...

Also, Magic Users Club... I had to hide that one from some of my friends.

I'm Gonna Be an Angel, I know some people here may think it's okay but not around where I live.

Love Hina for the same reason.

My cat Seeley is a Sailor Moon fan, too!

I didn't anticipate on having a black female cat and a white male cat or I would have named them Luna and Artemis... oh well.

My guilty pleasure is Ultra Maniac. Slightly uneven art, ridiculous, abrupt, and typical storylines, unneccessary transformation sequences, you name it.
But the characters are just so darn cute and it's just a fun show to watch, without thinking about it too much.

Is it bad that some of the shows that others are listing as guilty pleasures
are one that I actually thought were good? For example, Somedays
Dreamers was one that I remember enjoying a bit..and if I recall correctly,
Baakay did too (though, perhaps that should've been a tip-off).

My guilty pleasure is Azumanga Daioh and KareKano.

I can watch them over and over and over. Don't get me wrong, they are great shows, but not around where I am at. I tried watching both shows with my coworkers. They nearly wanted to punch me. If you really think about it, I am a 37 year old guy who tried to introduce a relationship, self evaluating highschool show to a bunch of 30-something year old guys and Azumanga Daioh just made me look like a perv....need I say more why they are my guilty pleasures.

Thank god my wife loves both shows  and my daughters can't get enough Azumanga.

Man, been tryin' to think of an anime related "guilty pleasure." Got none. The fact that I'm 29 and spend entirely too much time watching what really are cartoons (when it boils down). lol I think I'm kind of over any shame. :P

No fair... you used the opposite of my excuse.

29 and have manga strewn throughout my cubicle and one cel framed and hanging in it as well (don't know what it is from, but looks interesting).

So guess "guilty pleasure" would be me still single and reeeeaaallly trying to find some sort of anime/manga pic to put as my wallpaper that isn't of a little girl, or semi nude woman. >.<

Who am I kidding, they'll call me a perv anyways...

* I liked I, My, Me, Someday Dreamers, and Sugar Fairy. >.< Need to balance that with Wolf's Rain, Last Exile, and Neon Genesis Evangelion...

See I was smart, I got into anime after I got married and having girls meant that I can sit and watch cute anime with them without feeling guilty...hehehheheh. Plus everyone thinks I'm great and adorable to buy my girls anime when I go to Suncoast. I get points from my wife and her friends for watching anime and buying the girls anime related stuff like UFO's .

Is last exile really that great? I've seen stuff for them go insane in prices.

My daughter has convinced me that anime can be more ... well ... action-oriented than CCS and Tenshi ni Narumon . So at her recommendation I'm enjoying Hellsing and Gankutsuou. I'm also considering having a look at Midori Days. :D

As I was heading back from Nan Desu Kon one year, I was carrying a Pita
Ten clear poster through security since I didn't want to roll it up to put in my
luggage. The security screener said something like "Oh, your little girl will
love this." Sometimes, you just grin and nod without correcting that it's
really for you. Or I can just use the excuse that I'm buying it for a friend's
child..which is sometimes true....ask Baakay about her daughters' anime
toys :)

10 years ago, I watched and enjoyed Tokyo Babylon although I generally dislike all things CLAMP. Those obscenely thin characters make me shudder but I could bear it due to their interesting personalities and the gripping story.

Another one I love to watch every time it's on is Pokemon. Yeah, you may not think it judgeing by the anime I hark on about most of the time but it's cool. Although I never collected the cards or variety of merch, I did have a few plushies and Pokemon wall chart, heh heh. I even wrote and editied a video documentary based on the Pokemon craze at Uni which turned out well. :)
Out of the gloom a voice said unto me;
"Smile and be happy, things could be worse".
So I smiled and was happy
and behold;
things did get worse...
