hm.. i figure if i had a diamond, i could sell it and get a dog if i really wanted :P

.. besides, diamonds are bright and shiny... i have serious magpie syndrome.. :wink:

I went for the diamond.
Basicly because I've found out over the last years I'm not a dog person.

I really do not like diamond :? :? I don't know why..... I really do not see a point to have it... :P
I guess I am like a guy :P :P

I loooooooooooooooove dogs as well as cats :) I used to have the sweetest dog, but unfortunately she died from a heart attack when she was 3.... :bawl :bawl

Seriously after this, I really cannot have a dog anymore......

Definately the dog.

I'll be getting myself a cute little pug as soon as I graduate and find myself a decent job. I really like them ugly dogs, like the pug, shar-pei, bloodhound, basset hound and the Bulldog. I've been working for a diamond company for 3 years now and I've seen them in all sizes, shapes and clearity, dont really like em, but my girlfriend adores them.

Hey, instead of an engagement ring we got a waterbed. (back when they were all the rage...) Needed furniture more than decoration at that point and having a place to sleep seemed like a goooood idea!

I have cats because they're much lower maintenance, but I love dogs too.

I'm not a dog person, so I voted for diamond. If I seriously wanted a pet, I'd sell the diamond for some pretentious cat! :P

Dogs all the way!! I love my Springer Spaniel --- even though he's old and pretty strange. He's way more fun than a diamond!

Interesting poll. Well, I am very much a GM Pollack and Sons fiend, going there every weekend to check out their assortment of lovely stones.

But a diamond isn't going to protect you if someone breaks into your house. So, I would have to go with a dog.... an Akita at that. *I wuv Akitas* My little Pembroke Welsh Corgi just doesn't cut it. @_@;;;

I am a dog person. Always have, always will be. Rotts are my fav.

diamonds really do nothing for me except make me really broke. I would rather spend it on cels than diamonds.

My best friend is my wife, then my friends. Neither dog or diamonds can replace them. Though my wife might choose the diamond over me.. :l
