Which one? Which one?

If you could pick from two cels which one would you pick?
A good cel from your favorite series or a wishlist cel of a series you dont know of but you know that almost all the people who watch the series know that its a big wishlist

I would pick the wishlist cel and sell it and get a better cel of my favorite series. :D

EDIT: I was saying if a person just gave you a cel, if a person offered you a cel which one would you pick. Not buying a cel. If it was buying ofcourse i would go with my favorite series' cel. Im not trying to say it as an auction type. If it was like that then ofcourse i would let other people buy it and i wouldnt even pay much attention to it.

Question: how can a cel from a series you do not know of possibly be a wishlist? :?

Ok let me rephrase that, a wishlist of the series. Every series has a great wishlist cel in it that everyone know its a wishlist. Like Dragonball it would be Majin Vegeta sacrificing himself or goku going ssj for the first time. Or like the perfect shot of a character.

But again, if I was to recognize a "wishlist" cel from a series I know absolutely nothing about, it would mean that I would have at least seen some of that show. Otherwise I would not know that cel to be a "wishlist".

If I had never seen DBZ, I would not have known Majin Vegeta sacrificing himself as a major wishlist for everyone. I would just look at the cel and think that it is yet another cel of a guy with yellow hair, screaming his guts out. :shrug

Your making this hard on me X|
As for me i dont know Inuyasha but i know that cels of Sesshy are a big wishlist to almost everyone who knows Inuyasha. Thats an example. People could also tell if a cel is a great cel by the picture. Such as my Broly. Its a perfect cel. Looking straight at you and its centered. Is that better? :^^:

I'm sorry, I'm not trying to make this hard for you, I'm just trying to understand what you're getting at.

I just think people use the term "wishlist" way to easily.
I've only got a few real wishlist cels and one of them is from Hunter x Hunter, would you be able to recognize it when someone offers it for sale?

Sure, I can think of a lot of cels from great scenes from series I collect, but they are all "I would really like to have those" cels :^^:

Again, I'm sorry if I'm being too anal about this, I'm sure a lot of people are going to answer your poll

Uende,

I believe what hyelakingsfan is saying is.. if you had the opportunity to buy a cel from a show you know and love.. versus a cel that would be a key shot from a(n) unknown/don't collect from series.. on everyones want list that does collect it, which would you pick?

My answer to that is simple.. I would pick the series I know. I see no point of buying the other, because a) someone else who loves that series should get it and b) buying it strictly to resell it for a profit.. is just bleh.  (yes, dealers do it all the time.. but they are just that dealers)

I know what he's saying, and like I said; I'm probably anal about it.

I just don't like the concept I guess

I would go for my fav. series. A wishlist cel doesnt do me much good if it isnt *MY* wishlist cel.

I agree, it doesn't mean as much if it isn't a cel on my own wishlist, I'm not enterprising enough to buy a cel to make money, and buy another. (or maybe I'm just lazy....after all that sounds like more work :D )

I only buy cels for me so...

There's only really one choice for me, Definately from the series I enjoy.

After all I am a collector, not a dealer.

99% of the time I would say my favorite series. I also collect themes, though, and even if the cel isn't from a series I collect, if it is a great cel that fits a theme (spiral eyes, companion critters, winking characters) then I will consider it too. Once I actually bought a Rayearth cel without knowing much at all about the series, simply because it had Makona on Hikaru's shoulder.

I'm with Uende,
the way you are explaining it it's just like decinding between a cel you like or a cel that everybody else likes. If you get the later which would have no meaning for you as you have not watched the series it's as if you were willig to get it just to private the others from their "wishlist" cel
