Hai! O Twisted One!
No I don't mind if my real name is used, I sign all my PM's with it (when I remember to sign them). But my Beta name is an actual nickname of mine. One of many I will answer to.
Look on my birth ceritficate, it says Not Sir Phobos.
JK, Personally I like being able to 'hide' behind a fictitious name. There are a lot of scary people out there who are not Beta members and I like to give them as little info as possible. Also if I have a confrontation with a member or somebody harbors a dislike for me then I really would rather they don't have my name.
PM's are a different story. If somebody uses their real name in a PM then I will use mine because that info is hidden from the world.
My thoughts- .02cents
empty beer bottle- .05 cents
How much does a confrontation with a member or somebody harbors a dislike for him or her then he or she really would rather they do not have his or her name cost?

I don't mind if people call me by my real name. Sakura-chan calls me Haki-chan. *huggles to Sakura* Only two people call me by my real name on beta, but I don't mind either way, even if anyone calls me Hakiri, Kiri, Akiri, RiRi Hakir or anything, so long as I know that they are talking to me so I can remember to respond, lol. ^^;;

Thanks and you are a delightful person too. I am highly intelligent. I have many intellectual functions.

You don't know how true that is.
An example from last night. Baakay and I are chatting and she says how
she'd given up on the series 100% Ichigo and MAR. The conversation goes
something like this:
Me: "I like MAR. I realize it's totally retarded, but I still enjoy it."
Her: "You like retarded things, don't you?"
Me: "*Looks at Baakay and grins evilly*"
Her: "I set myself up for that one, didn't I?"

I listen to a lot of names, but Wendy is the one my parents gave me
..after the character in Peter Pan...
...aint it cute?
Scary...that's where my parent got mine....they will pay (for every single bad Wendy joke; including the fast food ones)
Actually all Wendy's are named after the character from Peter Pan in which the name 1st appeared.

Too funny.
I'll use my name in pm's and sometimes sign it in threads- I don't particularly care if someone knows it.
I actually found it funny when someone first referred to me as "hanaeleh" but it's kind of grown on me to the point that I associate myself with it now, especially with the corporation having the same name.
I really *love* my name- it's Elizabeth. I don't like it when people try to give me nicknames, though, like Liz or Beth or Betsy or whatever. I've had friends with all of those names, and I don't see myself as anything other than an Elizabeth (or a Hanaeleh ). It grates on me when people think they're being cute or friendly when calling me Liz. Argh!
