I didn't think I really knew any lesser known animes until I started-on about Get Backers. Can't believe more people haven't seen that show! That's about it.

One of these days I'm gonna work my way down Keropi's list, since he seems to be the authority on them. :D

Yeah...the spaghetti western music was great. /no1

Lesser Known Anime

Post by animejewell »

Hi,
Alot of my favorites are lesser known, but I really like Final Fantasy, Master of Mosquiton, and Hajime no Ippo. It's unfortunate that you can only get Master of Mosquiton and Final Fantasy on video. I hope somebody renews the rights to bring them out on dvd.

Sincerely,

I think my favorite is kino's journey-it was sort of a sleeper release last year in the states, but what a wonderful show. Very existential, simply about a young traveler and their talking motorad going from place to place and experiencing life.

of course, if you are a long-term comic geek such as myself, you also enjoy comic party :) And we just started working through a title called otogi zoshi, which so far looks promising

also im really into ninku! i just saw it pop up on baka updates a week ago and its like naruto on crack type character. i really am enjoying the episodes. hes a small kid that is a great fighter and pulls out replacement techniques and a rasengan type attack. there are other squad leaders like him and they have jutsus too.
