ever thought of having a cel chatroom?

I don't know if any exists, but now that it's summer a lot of people are in college or high school and are up later than normal or at weird hours. Has anyone ever though of making a cels chat room? Talk about random series and stuff. I find other cel collectors very interesting and think that it might be fun. Just a thought.

We used to have one here, but I don't remember ever seeing anyone in it. It wasn't in a very prominent location though so that probably helped to contribute to the low activity.

Of course there's the chatroom accesible off Rubberslug's main page:

Unfortunately I'm not good at general conversation (which explains why I haven't been there lately).

That would be a great idea. Recently, I've been hanging around the RS new chat room (ok more like living there to be exact

) and I really like seeing other Betarians there

! So a Beta chat room should be fun too !

My hubby and I are trying to convince magician to set up a chat room....

My hubby is an admin and he manages a couple forums for a game. And he set a chatroom for his forums so he knows how to set it up..... So we are definitely tryining to convice magician

We used to have two chatrooms here and now Magician is working on another one for us. That way if people want to chat about cels live or hash out an issue that was going on in a thread in the forum they can go there where there is no mod interference.

There is the good 'ol #anime-cel chatroom, but you need to have MiRC to get to that-- or you can use the java applet on the http://www.newnet.net site.

We're not as busy as we used to be, but us regulars can usually be found lurking in the evenings.

I can also vouch for the RubberSlug Chatroom, it's a nice application. I'd be interested to know what additions might be built onto it in the future, ie sub-rooms, blocking/allowing members, icons etc. It's good that it doesn't rely on Flash or Java, therefore universal for all!

There is a chatroom in the works. I hope to have it working in the next 2-3 days. Hopefully sooner.
