I did the same thing pretty much when I discovered Fruits Basket. In fact, that's what my mouse pad is. :)

And then another little anime came along called Fullmetal Alchemist. X| :hurt: :D I can't even begin to name all the little trinkets I have from that show. And many thanks to Baylor, I now have the official watch that Ed wrote in. :yay
Can you hear this fangirl squee?!

You're not crazy. Or, if you are, so are most of us! :-)

When I discovered Kenshin, my husband's reaction was "well at least she's gotten off the fixation with Zelgadis." (Muahahaha... little did he know. I have rediscovered Slayers via the novels and am in love all over again. )

I did the doll thing with Kenshin as well. And I swear if I were a good enough artist I'd invest in some Volks gear and make a Zel to go with him. Dreams? Daydreams? you bet.

But... try to get some sleep, ok? ;)

Drat, I tried to stay away from this series because I got hooked on the first few pages. Now that I see it has infected someone, will have to go find it. *sigh* I hate being an anime fan... So many titles, so little money and time. I now declare that anime fans have it worse than any other. At least with sports or such, there is only so much you can collect before you are "current" and can just spend a little here and there to maintain your status. Anime, you're never "current" and once you think you are, there's something else out there with cels, genga, figures, mousepads, manga, artbooks, etc. to purchase.

i did the same thing after watching the 1st episode of OLS on cartoon network... was the 1st anime I'd ever really watched, and my introduction to adult swim. ^_^ I was driving myself insane trying to figure out CN's adult swim schedule.** /hmm Kept thinking "I neeed to watch this... damn it adult swim!" Went out looking for the DVD's soon after... went into shock at prices for anime DVDs, and didn't buy.... and continued to go insane until i finally bought the series off ebay.

I was kinda like that with vampire hunter d : bloodlust for a while too... heh, i got D's theme going through my head now.... just soooooo good. i would watch vhd:b at least 1-3 times a week.

i'm still in love with both OLS and VHD:B

<edit> ** yes I was too cheap/poor to get TV guide or news paper subscription...

Whew! I'm just glad I'm not alone! Usually when I get really into a series, I hear the OP and EDs in my head all day. I even have a playlist in my ipod just of anime OPs and EDs. X|

I haven't felt that way about anime in awhile until Bleach came along and now that I'm watching Fruits Basket, that could move Bleach out of my narrow anime vision for awhile.

So don't worry, Nida! I was the same way about HnG, and more so the second time I watched it. Another anime will come along that will drive you just as zany. :D
