I voted 'Yes' because I'd love to have everything in my collection up on my website, but my Tylor hanken is too big to frame and has proven difficult to photograph. :/ There are also a few 'junk cels' I got in lots that I don't count as part of my collection.

Yes, because nowadays that's really the only way I can keep track of what I own. :sweatdrop While I enjoy having my gallery online for others to see, it's also my orgainzation system. I have a copy of all the html on my computer, backed up on disc, and on the internet so I know I'll always have a copy. I think it would also useful for insurance reasons, in case (Gd forbid) something ever happens to them. Now if I just had insurance, I'd be all set. X|

Hector the Collector loved these things with all his soul,
Loved them more than shining diamonds, loved them more than glistenin' gold.
Hector called to all the people,"Come and share my treasure trunk!"
And all the silly sightless people came and looked...and called it junk.

Some people don't want to post something because they don't want someone to have hard feelings with them for having gotten something. Some people don't post them because they don't want to be harassed about them by demanding or rude people.

For me I mainly don't have them up because I'm lazy. But maybe for a few of them it's also because I don't want to make it as easy for others to know that something is actually out there somewhere (esp. sketches).

Another 'No' vote from me, it's a cross between being lazy and just being overwhelmed with the amount to get through. I'd like to add the cels as I receive them but when I get 20-100 at a time it's too much to think about.

When I posted my JoJo's Adventure OVA 1 cels I was very pleased as it took a long time to arrange & scan them, however I have another 5 OVAs to get through, so that's about 1000 scans including dougas/gengas for that single series. Yeah, it's too much to take in and I don't like the prospect.

I do have tons of Mezzo Forte dougas/gengas that I haven't scanned because most of them are quite poor- smoke, glass shards, overhead lighting, you know, the really interesting stuff :P
But often I won't post stuff if I don't have the full details to write alongside it- that's put me off before. When it's online I feel that it's publised in a 'final format' and I like to have the correct and extensive details alongside the item.

Nowadays I'm more relaxed about this since I added the 'One-Offs' section to my RS gallery because it's better to just get the artwork out there for myself and others to view regardless.
On occasions fellow fans have contacted me with further info on the items I have trouble with so it's been worthwhile!

/?: So is anyone purposely holding back because they don't want to share something special? Now's the time to come forward and admit it :wink:
Out of the gloom a voice said unto me;
"Smile and be happy, things could be worse".
So I smiled and was happy
and behold;
things did get worse...

I'd like to know what sketches people have that hardly anyone (or no one else) has online. Sketches can often be a lot more uncommon than their cel brethren.

He's just being shy. Usually by the 20th or 30th pm/email on the subject,
he'll overcome it and give you the url and password.

i would say yes, but that doesn't apply for freebies.... those will probably never be on my gallery, or even scanned....

I didn't vote. Would be "yes" if it was almost two years ago, but no excuse anymore. Just get home after work and relax, then usually fall asleep after playing some games.

I can honestly say im lazy and I've not scanned everything I've ever gotten. Most of it, but I have a SSJ2 Gohan from that scene where Goku sacrifices himself to save Gohan and the others that I still haven't scanned... and I've had it a good year.

Depends on how many new cels I get on whether or not I'll feel compelled to scan them. If it's a truly amazing cel, I usually will at least for my own sake.

A few years ago it would have been yes, but that has changed. There are three categories of cels I don't post.

1) I don't put up the freebies because its a lot of extra work for cels no one would be interested in.

2) Large hankens that are a royal pain to scan well.

3) I also have a number of cels that I promised not to post/email as a condition of the sale.
