How many cels do you have?

If I leave out the extras, bonuses and freebies I have about 290-295 cels. I don't have many sketches. I have a couple thick Hana Yori Dango sketch sets, but the other sketch "sets" consist of only 1-4 sketches each from about 8-9 different series.

End of 1997 - 4 cels
End of 1998 - 42 cels
End of 1999 - 70 cels
End of 2000 - 99 cels
End of 2001 - 116 cels

2001 - This was the year my cel collecting career was winding down. Then Dec 26, 2001 I ran across all the anime based off ren'ai games which inspired me for a new round of cel collecting...

End of 2002- 166 cels
End of 2003 - ??? cels
End of 2004 - 274-279 cels

2005 - The cels I like are running out again so now it's...

July 1st 2005 - 290-295 cels

Quality cels running out for me is both good and bad .

That's okay, it's been six months since then. A lot can change in that amount of time. Now, if the same question were asked every week, that would be a little silly.

Yes, I've discussed my overly huge cel collection before, but who cares? I'm about to do so again..



In hand, at this very moment? I have 423, of which maybe 8 are fan cels. Purchased but not yet in hand are about five more.

I keep thinking I'm going to thin out this huge mass of cels out, but...

Storage soon will not be a problem. I'm in negotiations with the State of CA to purchase Hearst Castle at San Simeon.

I'm actually not sure any more how many I have. I know I have just over 400 individually displayed items in my RS gallery, but many of them are gengas, and quite a few are parts of a single sketch set. I'd guess around 200-250. I lost count when I went from 4 cel books to 8 rather suddenly about this time last year.

Heh, you're such a statistician Keropi, I love it! Seriously, it's a good idea to keep track but it's like recording the downward spiral of your sanity and woeful financial situation over the years, j/k

As for how many cels I have; I'm not telling Tempted to go and count them but I can spend my days doing more productive things *hee hee*

i counted the cel images i have and it's at 50 or a bit over 50. cant remember.

havent counted my genga/douga. bet that's over what my cel count is.

I only have about 42 cels in total (not counting sketches). I have been collecting since 2000. I have been relatively good when it comes to cels since they are so expensive and hard to come by.

As far as sketches go, I am not even going there!!

20 BGs (originals)
6 layouts (originals)
126 settei (copy)

I guess..... I do not have so many cels.....

Cels only (no genga/douga ... cuz those are too hard to count and I'm just plain embarrassed at the numbers ... ):

175 ... 2 of which are fancels.
