Really. Do robots have ortho? What are you scared of?

I have braces and they removed those same 2 teeth!!
I took them about 5 minutes to numb my mouth and about 45 seconds to pull the 2 teeth. Its really not so bad, but the gums do stay pretty sensative for a good couple of weeks.

Oh yeah!
Theirs a product called kanka that really helps if your having pain, its like ambasol on steroids. You just rub it on and it really numbs things up - very handy for before meals. You can get it over the counter and most pharmacies. :D

I had 5 teeth removed in one magical trip to the dentist a-la my orthodontist. It's really not that bad. When he puts his foot on your neck to get better leverage, you'd better ask for another novicane shot though :^^:

You're a meanie, NSP.

Hmm. I wonder. If I asked to have those two teeth pulled out of MY mouth, I wouldn't have to sit through a big filling replacement.

and maybe they'd be able to align my top teeth a little better (they protrude ... although not like they did when I was a kid!).

ewww.

Don't worry, Kittens, and do that kanka thing if you're sore.

At one point they told me they were going to remove seven. But once they had five out they thought it was good enough.

What's a "happy gus"?

Back about..hmm..five years ago, I had to have my wisdom teeth removed.
One of them wasn't that bad as it was already through the gum and was just
pulled. The other three were impacted below the gumline so they had to dig
them out. It was one of those where they didn't give me the option of a local
or being put totally under...I went totally under. They ended up having a lot
of problems getting the teeth out..and then getting the bleeding stopped. I'm
not sure if it was a reaction to the anesthetic or all the blood hitting my
stomach, but I was nauseous for about a week.
