Well in 4 years on cel collecting and around 150 cels posted I am at close to $20,000 but the 19 pieces of comic artwork I have scanned in my gallery (not counting the portflios) if I sold them would easly dwarf that. Lets just say I hold a $150,000 rider on my home insurance for the cel's , comic artwork & statues I own. Of couse I never paid that but when just 1 Mike Mignola Hellboy page gets unsolictated offers for $10,000 one can get an idea that the comic stuff runs a lot more than cels do.

Well, I added mine up, which was foolish of me. It was definitely enough to buy a rather decent car.

Knowing the total made me horribly depressed ... as I figured it would. /sob And, so ... what do you do when you're horribly depressed? Yep ... buy more cels!

Hurrah! Problem solved ... or not ... but, still ... Hurrah! :yay

I am always careful about what I spend and have never paid more than $450. for a cel. 8O

But I do have quite a few............ :wink:

eh......stopped counting, it's better on my conscience to think I've only spent a few hundred....the truth is not always a pleasant thing. If I averaged it, I could probably pay off a good portion of my college loans... X|
