Should Cloud have a makeover

Hi guys

Thought this might be a good idea to put forward to the forum. I noticed when the T-shirts were being designed that a few people wanted to use Cloud as a Mascott. Since he is 'Grrr' from invader Zim there would be copyright issues in using him.

I thought we should have a competition to design the look\shell for Cloud.
As much as I love the current look of 'it', it's sad we can't use him on anything else... no t-shirts - as a logo etc. By creating an original design we could in future use him on anything we want.

Before I start the competition, I thought It would put it to a vote first, no sense in changing Cloud if everyone disagrees.The vote will be kept up for a week, if everyone decides that Cloud should get a makeover then I will post up the rules etc.

EDIT: Cloud would receive an image makeover only. His personailty and random posts would be left in tact.
I think this would be good for Beta :)

I voted no.
To me , the little bot works fine just the way he is. I don't see the need for makeover.

I voted yes, as I understand it C-boy would get an image make-over not a change in his personality (as strange as it is sometimes).

I love the Gir avatar but it would be great to have an image we could use on swag. :bny

As we have many talnted artists here at Beta it would be fun to have someone come-up with a new bot pic.

I also voted yes, I think 'it' should get an image makeover only, and I'm sure that is what you are referring to in your post, but in your poll you are directly referring to changing what Cloud says. That may be a point of confusion for some people.

I guess I'm just completely out of it, because I always think of Cloud as the bot image in his sig, not the little dancing thing! Is Grr the dancing thing? Is Cloud supposed to be the dancing thing??? (I guess then you can count me in as you can give him a makeover since I'm completely confused as to his "look" anyway! :))

Cloud is named after one of the segments from Robot Carnival - the little robot in his signature is a picture of the robot from that short film.
