My pick for this week is still my newest Duo...like you, Kata, I love all my cels, so this is my newest favorite. Of course that will change when I get my next package in the mail.

This has been my favourite for the month of July and will always rate high in my opinion, the 'Mistress' from Imma Seiden It's like one of those model shots for a fashion/cosmetics spread, just one of those perfect compositions

How'd I miss this? for shame.

I couldn't possibly pick a favorite at the moment. It's hard even to pick out cels that I might potentially consider weeding, so..

Here's the deal: I adore this cel, but I don't know who it is or even what show it's from!! She's just so incredibly lovely. Does anyone have a thought on this? a clue? a hint?

Isn't that a fan cel? Or does the Inuyasha series have this style to it? I'm not dissing it but it looks very simplistic for a close up and the line weight & shading doesn't correspond to ANY modern anime I've seen, hmmm, please prove me wrong.

One of them has the same scanned background this one came with. Also other cels of this character look pretty much the same in the points you mentioned. (shading, line quality etc...)

I am very fond of the image search function on Rubberslug, and use it often to see if related cels are in other collections. Selecting "all" is pretty handy if you want to get a scattering of images and a list of any galleries that carry the series in question or have a whole gallery section devoted to the character, but I like to select the "artwork" function to see lots of related (and some unrelated!) cels. The one link above didn't come up in the artwork search, however because they spelled the character's name wrong.

You're right though, I'd never sell that one.
