This is getting totally ridiculous!! Gas prices in Holland

Oh how fun!!

Yesterday the meter of my car's gas tank read that dreaded E for empty.

So I stopped at my regular gas station, plugged my precious HxH mobile in and filled it up.

In the meantime I was keeping an eye on the price counter that steadily went up, and up.....and up

...and up

....and up

..and up

So how expensive is gasoline in Holland? well..I did some calculations... are you guys sitting down?

Here in Holland we pay $ 6.87 a gallon!

And you thought cel collecting was expensive!

Yeah price of gus here is getting really high as well.... (like $2.35 per a gallon in NC....)

We have a small geo so all we need is 6 gallon a week

So it does not affect us so much but still sucks

I'm sorry but $ 2.35 compared to $ 6.87 a gallon is still pretty cheap to me...

Now, now, she didn't say GAS, she said GUS! But why you'd want to put gus in your car...

It ALL seems pretty awful to me when I remember filling the tank for $5.00 about the time I got my drivers license. Now it's $30 if I wait till the idiot light comes on.

But holy crap, $6.87??

Why are you guys so special, anyway??
