"Look what I'm offering you-- your dreams I ask for so little. Just let me rule you, and you can have everything that you want. Just fear me, Love me, Do as I say, and I will be your slave"
Hiya sweetums! I almost never post, so this is a rare moment
Hope you have a wonderful birthday. Try to cheer up and dream
about your glorious future. Know that you're a solid babe with
razor wit and a keen eye. Go out and conquer the world!
Ack, I don't check this section very often, so sorry I'm late posting! Thank you all so much for the birthday wishes!
It was a fantastic birthday! I got the only thing I wanted and had told my husband like eight months ago; we went to see the new Cirque du Soleil show. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Cirque du Soleil. It was as amazing as I had hoped. I am always astounded by the performers in the different CdS's.
It even softened the blow of rounding the decade turning corner and turning *sniffle* 30 years old. I feel SO old! My only consolation is that my friend at the bank told me she was shocked and thought I was 22 like her, and I got carded at the bar last night.
SME, so sorry to hear about your loss, but I hope you had a great birthday despite that. You do have the best possible birthdate (although February 29 would be really cool) and a leo to boot!
Namaste
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort. ~Herm Albright
The Doctor : … and then, just to finish off, I’m going to wipe every last stinking Dalek out of the sky !
Dalek : But you have no weapons ! No defenses ! No plan !
The Doctor : Yeah ! And doesn’t that scare you to death ?
The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
