I was kinda considering a while back, but I'm still on crutches and it is just too much of a pain in the a$$ to travel by myself from New England, (my boyfriend can't come, he is going to the bachelor party, then a wedding in Florida....which I am not going to either!). I can't wait until the physical therapy is over 8O .

:bawl For gods sake, someone take pictures so I can see what I missed. If I ever make it to one, I get to sit on Sensei's lab :D (you don't mind, do you Sensei, I promise to let the other girls take their turn  )

Erm. . . Better late than never, right? I'll be there, provided I haven't completely crashed by then. :)

Otakon site post:
Pre-registration pickup will take place in the Pratt Street Lobby (that's the big main entrance closest to the stadium, on Pratt Street). Assuming all goes well, doors will open sometime AFTER 5:00 PM, and will close at approximately 10:00 PM. We must have everyone out of the building by 11:00 PM.

Does this mean that we can go through registration tonite instead of tomorrow? I might be able to get down there around 8 PM. Has anyone here done this in the past?

Now Cloud, You don't have to register, you just need to find an internet connection to slip in. Those of us with physical bodies, however, have to go through a major ordeal to get in the convention center. Anything that makes it easier I am interested in trying.

I can't think of anything. You think of something.

In a hurry (I'm packing my car as I type) ... yes. If you get down early, you can preregister Thursday night. There are lines, but not as amazingly long as on Friday morning.

Cloud can preregister virtually any time after 5:37:28 PM this afternoon.

Arigatou, Sensei! *continuing to throw things into the suitcases* (I can't believe it's plural this year XD;;).

Vapalla: If you have preregistered you can indeed pick your registration packet up today instead of tomorrow ^_^. We did this last year, and I'm hoping to try it again this year. Be aware though that with the amount of preregistrations they did this year, the lines will probably be something to remember. Last year we stood out in the summer heat for quite a long time, and wrapped around the building.

Like you I'm planning on going later in the night, and hoping that the crowds will be thinner by then.

If you have not preregistered and are planning on being one of those lucky few to get the remaining open registrations, that can only be done starting Friday morning.
