That is a bummer! I loved Gilligan's Island, and even loved him in his role on Dobie Gillis (although I saw those much later, on Nick at Nite).

I was totally bummed over Chief Justice Rhenquist's passing, too. This has been a hard week for public figures, it seems.

I lived and breathed Gilligan for years. Learned at least as much about Shakespeare from Gilligan's Island as I did from a full year of study in college. *sniff*

Hard to believe he was only a little younger than my dad. I can't separate him from Gilligan in my mind.

I didn't realize he was that old. He was a good comedian, & I saw him on the original Dobie Gillis (WORRRK! - note my age) and Gilligan. Very sad.
