I was married once, but my husband was killed
in a car accident. That was 17 years ago, and I
have never been re-married. Guess I am a firm
believer in the fact you have just one soul mate.

Oh yeah - I have a couple kids as well!! :P

Just wanted to pop in again and give you a hug Nida :friends:

I'm a firm believer in just one guy, that is why I am so afraid of getting married. I don't want to screw up my one and only chance :?

My mother said that as well. When my dad passed three years ago, she had resigned herself to the idea that he was it. They had been married for 27 years, and were very happy together. She stayed with him through all 22 months of his illness. During his cancer treatment, he was assigned a healing counsellor. The guy took care of my dad and was very cool to my family. After my dad passed, he counselled my mother and I. Three years later, my mother and this man are living together. They are in love, and very happy. They were brought together in a horrible circumstance and now have a life together.
Time is but an illusion. Lunch time...doubly so.

Tell me about it, my youngest is autistic and speech therapy alone is draining.

I'm waiting a couple years before having a kid. I just have to put up with the usual "when am I going to be a grandma" from my mom til then. X|

Dunno about that whole marriage thing though... If it happens, it happens; if it doesn't, it doesn't. I'm not pressed. Thankfully my friends and brothers are single still so I can drag them to things with me. :D

LONELY!

Post by Chef_Charley »

See my avatar, lol, that just proves that I am single and lonely. Long hours of work means I don't get out much so my love life is nonexistant. All you single and looking Beta ladies, how about a guy who can cook you gourmet meals anytime you want, lol. Seriously ladies, PM me anytime, lol. I have to be honest though, there is one girl I really care about but I don't think shes feels exactly the way I feel about her and I would never push her. So I wait patiently hoping fate has something good in the cards for me. This post may the blessing in disguise I wanted though(I finally learned which of you ladies are taken and which aren't, lol)

You guys should be able to get some sort of aid from the feds. But you'll need a doctor's diagnosis of autism. My brother's autistic, and my mom recently jumped through all of the hoops to get aid. I'm not sure if it will cover speech therapy, but there is aid involved. I'll ask my mom to see what exactly you need to do. :)

Anyway . . . Charley, you do realize that all the women on this board are hopelessly addicted to expensive pieces of acetate? :evil2

Married seven months (together seven years seven months) no kids here . . .

No kids ever, if I can get away with it. The last thing I need is a daughter who will be just like me, and be Daddy's Girl. :emb
