I can't tell if it does or not. Where did Hanes get a perfect fit for him or her?

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

Well it looks like Rita has died down considerably from what it was looking like earlier this week. I'm doubtful now that it will hit as a cat 4. But if it does, at least it will be a weak one, as comforting as that really doesn't sound.

My family is in Houston, north Houston, and they have all elected to stay. After going through Alicia, Bob, and Allison, they're rather confident. I think they'll be okay as well. My husband was pulled from New Orleans to go help in Houston. He's going to be a pro at this before too much longer. :D

My parents also decided to stay and they are located in Houston as well. They are more scared of looters than the hurricane itself. 8O

With absolutely no intention of making fun of the situation...

I can tell how tired I am by the fact that I looked at that really fast and saw

"They are more scared of LOBSTERS than the hurricane itself."

I ... give up :O

ROFL! For a minute there, I thought I really DID write lobsters! Considering they used to raise sharks for fun, they would probably invite them over for dinner. HA! :P

Just to let people know - I ended up staying because the traffic was too bad to even contemplate. Fortunately for Houston at least the storm went east, but I hope it didn't do too much damage. I just got my power back a little while ago after it went out yesterday, but other than that there weren't any major problems here.

Loved them more than shining diamonds, loved them more than glistenin' gold.
Hector called to all the people,"Come and share my treasure trunk!"
And all the silly sightless people came and looked...and called it junk.

I just got a call from my parents. In their area in Houston, the electricity is oiut and will stay out for up to a week now. The hurricane ended up hitting head on with their rent properties (they have 7 hourses), which they suspect may have all been destroyed. We won't know the extent of the damage there for at least a few more days as they are not letting people back into the areas. 8O
Fortunately, they are all completely insured . . . .
