Where did you hear that?

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

You have hired movers coming, right? They tend to be really big guys who won't take any crap.Baakay wrote:In all seriousness, though, you might consider getting someone to be with you when the actual physical move happens. Things have sometimes been known to turn strange when the finality of the move is right in the other person's face.

I'm so glad that you're things are going good so far--well, as good as they can considering the situation. Just as soon as you get to the new apartment, take a good long nap. You're going to need it, and you'll deserve it.

What would make you type more but I just fell down the cement stairs outside while carrying glass containers and hurt my hands knees etc?

I just read the whole post and am so sorry this is happening to you. I feel so much anger inside because I know exactly what you are going through with this guy. Please take care of yourself and, even though I'm not that well known yet in Beta, you can PM me or email me if you need another friend to talk to.
Hope you didn't get hurt to badly when you fell.

I'm out!
Project moveout: success!
It feels so good to get out of there.
Thanks to my month-long exercise program involving heavy boxes, I'm now in the best shape I've ever been.
Thanks for your support, everyone.
I don't have internet access at home yet, but I'll try stopped by from work in the mean time.

I am glad to hear that everything went smoothly--well as smoothly as it could too.
