That episode is hilarious! Its soo wrong but cant..stop..laughing O_O
I would have to say that the Big O eerily reminds me of the american Batman series. In fact I read on a board that the same folk that produced or animated it had worked before on Batman..soooo.. hmmm
And then theres Kenshin. Im no Kenshin fan, but I had read before on a board and in an article in Animerica I believe, that the creator is a huge fan of American comics, that Aoshi and Hiko's coats were directly influenced by X-men.
So lotsa neat lil tidbit and cross-references
Disney does it alot in their movies when they have characters interact w/ each other in the background. Like Belle from Beauty and the Beast is walking thru the marketplace reading a book in Hunchback of Notredame.
