I just saw the first episode of Paranoia Agent.
I'll classifiy it as... disturbingly creepy.

The Doctor : … and then, just to finish off, I’m going to wipe every last stinking Dalek out of the sky !
Dalek : But you have no weapons ! No defenses ! No plan !
The Doctor : Yeah ! And doesn’t that scare you to death ?

Last night we watched Final Fantasy VII Advent Children dvd we picked up at a small con this last weekend.

Let's see ... while the kiddo watched Dora the Explorer last night, I indulged the otaku in me with Ushio & Tora, which I viewed on my trusty compie. About a week prior to that, it was the first 24 episodes of Bleach. :)

Just watched the first two DVDs of Fafner... so odd, need to rewatch them. Sorta bugs me when a series dumps you in the middle of something happening and hopes you just hang on for the ride. Need to figure out who the heck people are and some are gone already. >.<

Also watched FF VII: AC. Damn, this is one insane show and can't wait to watch it in English. =D The FF VII Walkthrough deal was great... bringing back my memories of College. >.> When the PlayStation was really hot and I actually thought the backgrounds were the best ever.

Fighting Beauty Wulong 1 (okay/fair - 5.2):
http://www.youngsunday.com/rensai/comics/wooron.html
I'm usually not much into anime centered on hand to hand fighting competitions these days. That old guy reminds me of a famous old guy from another anime. :P

Canvas 2 episode 1 (watching it unsubbed - okay - 5.3):
http://www.kadokawa.co.jp/canvas2/
I'm surprised that even though this anime is rumored to be over twenty episodes long that they are already displaying emotional stuff along with flashback scenes in the FIRST episode. Usually ren'ai game anime begin with semi-boring real life stuff before the crap hits the fan at the end of the series. 8O I like early flashback scenes even if these aren't half as deep as Kanon's. They should have prolonged the mystery though. :(

Happy Seven 1 (fair - 5.1):
http://www.happy-7.jp/
I can't help but think of Sailor Moon while watching this. The main girl acts similar to Usagi and sometimes even LOOKS like her from far away shots. And the guy in the first episode reminds one of Tuxedo Mask. But I didn't get into this much. Like I've said before I usually prefer dramas to comedies.

Bleach 52 (fairly good - 6.3):
Talked about this already.

Jigoku Shoujo (Hell Girl) ep. 1 (fairly good - 5.9):
http://www.jigokushoujo.com/
The first episode reminded me so much of one of my favorite comic books as a kid. I got such a kick out of watching it that I was laughing while I was viewing it. Bwaa-haa-haa!! :evil2 :evilblk

That one guy's voice sounds like Ichigo's sword. :D

Noein promo - Nice animation scenes.

To Heart 2 ep. 1 (okay/decent - 5.5):
http://www.toheart2.net/
I didn't have a problem with the animation quality like a couple people I heard did. I see they kept the tradition of the head rubbing from the first game. :^^: And I wonder if it was an inside joke when Taka was standing outside Konomi's place calling out to wake her up (which is the exact opposite of what Akari always did in the first game).

I thought it was decently enjoyable for what it was. I hate to say it, but Konomi's voice kind of got on my nerves after hearing to her for awhile. Where's Ayako Kawasumi when you need her? :^^: (her anime voice, NOT her To Heart game voice. X| )

Cluster Edge 1 (okay - 5.3):
http://www.cluster-edge.net/
I liked the setting mix of Earth's 1890's to 1920's technology. I liked the design of the planes and it was cool to see those old style dreadnought warships. The character designs remind me of Kita e's sometimes. It wasn't bad, but this is not the type of anime that I normally watch.
