Of course. Whether it's a film about the world wars or just conflict in martial arts movies, it's all exciting entertainment. My favourite types are Vietnam War movies, those set in Feudal Japan and the Chinese Mafia.
The thing I like best abut these films is the brotherhood theme which we often see in when there's a group/unit of people we follow in each story.

Lots of girls like war movies too, you know, young whippersnapper! But just because you're being mean to us of the ovarian section, I won't tell you which ones I like.

PS: i love Saving Private Ryan. There are many others that i like too but i cant remember the names, but SPR is prob my fav.
I like War Movies. I read a huge history of war book a long time ago and I enjoy watching war movies from all periods from bronze age to the distant future.
One day I'd like to find a war movie with a naval warfare scene from 1890's to 1930. I don't recall ever seeing one from that period. I'd also like to see a movie with jet planes that my dad worked on in the Air Force in the late 1950's. I've only seen movies with planes from around the Korean War period or from 1962 onward.
War movies... ick. Unless, of course, they are great BBC or A&E costume dramas like Horatio Hornblower or Master and Commander.... then I'm in! I need to borrow of few of you male-types occasionally to go with my poor husband to see those movies like Saving Private Ryan that his wimpy wife refuses to go with him to see.
