For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to be a writer.

Isn't it funny how many of us have answered that? :)

Don't ask me that! I still don't know!!!!

<--Just got a letter from her uni telling her she needs to at least pretend to have chosen her major by Oct. 17, or she'll be put on academic probation. 8O . . . Just so no one asks, I came into the university with 45 credits from AP tests, and I'm a sophmore, so it is plausible. X|

But, when I was little, I went through all sorts of stages:

1. dog
2. teacher
3. doctor
4. writer (still a wish of mine)
5. no clue

I'm still stuck on step number four at the moment. /swt

Is it impolite? I am sure he will be interested to hear that.

Oddly enough, the one thing I NEVER wanted to be was grown up.

Darn good thing, too :P

I think I'm rather happy and well adjusted! :)
Of course that's probably due to my living in my own little world. :dgrin

Well, when I was little I wanted to be a zookeeper because I loved animals...until I realized that you have to be more of a zoologist to land the cool jobs.

Now I actually really want to be an animator ^.^ It's been an aspiration of mine even before I saw anime. First, I wanted to animate for Disney, then I wanted to animate for Pixar or Dreamworks...now....I guess it would be great to become an animator for any company that puts out inspiring work. However, working on a Japanese animation team would be a dream in and of itself ^.^

When I grow up I wanna be CEO of a company that gets me super rich, and I don't have to do much work so I can spend my days being lazy :P

Or maybe I'll be a lawyer :D

When I was little (I don't remember how old I was :? ) I was watching someting that dealt with some girl's true love finding her. I accidentally said out loud,"Wow, I hope the one that is meant for only me, finds me soon!"

My mother, heard it and sat right next to me. In her sternest voice, she said, "That is a western way of thinking, there isn't really such a thing. Your husband has been choosen for you since birth, and he is the one you will live for...do you understand?"

I nodded, tears streaming down my sad little face. I was always such an obedient girl back then. When I was 14, I found out that the guy I was to marry had died years ago. My mother never mentioned it to me. When I turned 16, they have been bugging me to get married ever since! I can proudly say that I am single and in no hurry.

So when I was little, I secretly wanted to be the bride of someone that loved me.....*simple wish, really*

I think that is wonderful Ashura ^.^ I am glad that you still haven't given up on your dream of finding the one true love instead of your parents making your decision for you. It is a good feeling to be able to choose for yourself. I have the same problem with my father telling me who I should and should not want to date. I am such a western romantic myself I guess ^.^ I hope you find that special guy!

It's hard to stay friends for a long time.
