Hahah I've just started watching some Ground Defence Force Mao-Chan...and maaan, it's the weirdest anime I have ever seen...those Japanese sure have awesome imaginations…but I hate to admit it...it is incredibly cute...lol

So then...has anyone seen or even heard of it!! I, the officer think it's great!

Hahaha, I'm watching it in English at the moment and the little things the characters say is just so great! I, myself love it...hahah! Mao's voice does leave me with a headache tho!!

I bet I'm the only one who's seen it, I say!! XD

Well it is pretty high on the cute factor, as the reason why the girls are all enrolled in the military, is so that they can defend Japan from...wait for it....CUTE ALIENS! Hahah!

It sounds really interesting, something I'd watch and at the same time, crazy. Ya know, the description really reminds me of Excel Saga for some reason lol! With the lil Puchu aliens XD but that's probably just me... yeah, that's just me. XD

Well on the strength of your recommendation Ronin I just bought a copy of the series from ebay (very resonably priced to).

I quite liked love Hina so I may like this.

I do have to warn you it's completly strange and quite a lot different to Love Hina...hahah and it will have you questioning your sanity at the best of times, but let me know what you think when you get it!! I decided to watch it because of Love Hina too, but you shouldn't be dissapointed, if you like to sit back and watch something that will have you laughing and awww at the same time..lol

The bloke with the tash is probably Mao's Grandfather, there are three Grandfathers who are always competing to who's grand daughter is the cutest/bestest etc etc..lol

Hey thanks for the recommendation vapalla! Just looking at the front page of the wbsite...you can tell it's gonna be pretty surreal!! I'll have to check it out!

And yeaaah the artwork is pretty sweet, I assume it's CG, if it was done by the same ppl as Love Hina, which was CG as well..so I can only guess!

Did you order it in the end?

I think Harry should watch it too...would make a change from ninja's and Saiyans!
