Here's the Bob update from the pug forum this morning:

thanks for asking everyone--Bob is pretty okay, but very stiff and very sore this morning. Hobbling around like an old man. I was up and down all night because I wanted to monitor the heating pad he was on. So we slept in this morning till 12:30.

I had him soak a bit in a warm tub with some lavendar oil (OK, I'm a bit nuts) this morning and called my vet to be on the safe side. She thinks he's just bruised and stiff. He's camped out on the livingroom sofa.
Here's the really pitiful thing--Bob was so sore last night that he didn't want to be touched and poor little Sonny (Bob's kitten) wanted to sleep with Bob but couldn't cause Bob was too sore. Poor little Sonny whined and whined and finally settled for sleeping head to head with Bob and cleaned his ears and face for most of the night.

Now I'm even madder.

Poor little Bob!!!

(And what's up with Cloud's sudden evangelism?

That lady should have her head checked. What a b%tch! I hope he feels better. Your friend has awesome restraints. I would have punched the lady. Who the hell spits at people besides little kids

Wow, that really sucks. Some ppl are just soo stupid. How could someone do something like that? I was crossing my fingers while reading to see if Bob bit the persons ass

Damn he didnt.

But on the real, that is horrible. I hope that he gets better.

Poor Bob!!!

I would normally have sympathy for someone pushing away a strange dog, because you never know what a dog will do. But it doesn't sound like this lady showed the least bit of fear towards the dog--then she kicks him?!!

Someone has some anger issues.
