Kami's Introduction
I guess I'll spend some time and really introduce myself.
First of, many of you may know me from Rubberslug where I lurk often and am not very talkative.
Im 25, female, and come from the Gulf Coast of Alabama living in a 300-year old port city called Mobile (mou-beel)..
I am currently starting a new job as a manager trainee for Enterprise Rental Car (that doesnt sound too exciting, but the pay is extremely high and the position requires a degree)..
Speaking of which, I am a college graduate. My degree is in International Relations with some foriegn language; more specifically German and Japanese. I even lived in Germany for a while and attended classes at the Universitaet von Passau. This included a Japanese class taught through German language (it was fun !)
I also enjoy history, mythology, Japanese culture, drawing, and my special guy, Spastic Elf ^_^
I even have a modest webcomic that I'm too shy to promote until I feel its ready for public viewing.
Current anime Im watching: Basilisk, Solty Rei, Cluster Edge, Bouken Ou Beet, Bleach, Naruto, Monster, and MAR..
and I just finished Speed Grapher...
I like to collect Zenki, Giant Robo, Valgaav, and Go Nagai's Akira (Devilman).
Ive been collecting heavily for a year and a half now and sporadically for five years total.
My gallery is called Measly cels because I started off with a slim collection of cheapy cels that werent much to admire. Of course, I would think that now, the title isnt fitting for my collection, but I will remain modest =)

Welcome! welcome indeed! That IS one absolutely fantastically gorgeous avatar. Just beautiful.kaminari wrote:II even have a modest webcomic that I'm too shy to promote until I feel its ready for public viewing.

You started collecting about the same time I did!

Similar background, similar interests, and I'll betcha you make more money than I do. Rats.

Oh! But the main reason I wanted to stick my profilic face in here is to say do NOT be modest. One of the neatest things about this bunch is that there is not only a huge amount of talent running around, of various types, but that we are immensely supportive of such. We've got everything from sculpture to sketches to painting to stained glass going on here, to say nothing of fan fiction, comedy writing, and what have you, all at various levels of skill, and EVERYONE gets kudos!
So show us a sample!

I've been waiting for you.

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

Hi there Kami, I see you around RS a lot but we've never chatted [as far I as can remember]; glad to see you made the transition over to Beta!
One thing I remember about your gallery most is the Street Fighter Alpha cel of Ryu because you outbid me on YJ
Your collection is impressive, so many purty piccies and fraom a range of different anime too!
Stunning collection of Giant Robo there; my fave characters are Tetsugyu and Taisou so I was pleased to see these guys in your collection ^__^
I'd like a setup of these two drinking sake together, that'd be so cool, heh.
See you around

I think I need a deeper algorithm.

Dalek : But you have no weapons ! No defenses ! No plan !
The Doctor : Yeah ! And doesn’t that scare you to death ?
