I've raised about 6 litters out of my dogs now O_O Everyone of them has been either black (with tan and white marking) or buff. "cept for one little puppy that came-out of my tiniest bitches first litter. He was the only one born with spots like my male has ('cept the puppies were black and the father's are brown.) Unfortunately, this puppy was just slightly smaller than mom and it got stuck during delivery. I was unable to get it out in-time.
The entire family was very disappointed as this was teh ONE puppy we'd really gone through all of this breeding for. >_< Anyway, imagine our delight when, a year later, the same bitch safely delivers this:http://animelicious.rubberslug.com/user ... 3929e1.jpg
He's all of 4-days old. We call him "Moo" because of the striking resemblance to a Holstein.
