I have a pomeranian named Nick. He actually lives with my folks, since I live in the city and they live out in farmland area. He's used to it, and having the freedom to take walks without going to a park. I couldn't take that away from him, but I do have visitation rights

I currently don't have any pets as my hours would kind of make it hard to for me to insure that they have what they need. Though growing up, my parents always had a Great Dane, and for a couple of weeks each year I end up taking care of their "child replacement" Mickey. Nothing like having a spoiled Great Dane with emotional issues.

Have you ever had pets as his or her hours would kind of make it hard to for him or her to insure that they have what they need ?

LOL You've obviously never had much contact with Chihuahuas! They fear NOTHING. I used to work at a pet shop, so I'm quite aware of how feisty ferrets can be and I can tell you, without a doubt, they'd stand no chance against the Chis (especially not 6 of them!). Granted, the Chis might lose and eye in the process, but I'm quite certain they'd win in the end.

I had a chihuahua once.. my Gawd that lil demon was vicious..

Chloe we named 'him' at the time i thought it was a girl dog lol!

(cut me some slack! I was only 7!

) I had to give him away after only owning it for 4 months cuz it would bite the hell out of me, and jump on my bed and piss/poo on the sheets to spite me when I'd yell at it for its accidents.

As for ferrets.. oy vey, my very 1st one, actually poked a cat i used to own's eye and blinded him

, becuz the cat liked to sniff her too much.. the ferret got mad and poked its eye.

Poor lil kitty.. we gave him away to a family since the ferret was viciously jealous.

Tony and Christy are SO jealous of ecah other, that we have to separate the 2 of em. They fight to the DEATH when they come in contact, and bite on each other's neck.
