My hubby and I just came back from NY and when we got home we found a nice surprise!!!!

Perv chan sent us a nice "funny" x-mas card

Just yesterday. And she mailed it Dec. 19th.
MAN the mail to/from that island is sloooow.

All the envelopes were presealed shut. So, my husband taught me how to use the teakettle to steam them open, and then I had to use some glue to reseal them.

So the envelopes looked a bit the worse for wear before ever getting to the post office.

Oh, and wc, I'm still on the hunt for fruitcake! Yesterday I gave up and found a recipe online to make you one, but we don't have even half the ingredients on island, so I'm back to bugging the guys at the store about it.

Me too! me too!! What came labelled as "calendar" (you sneaky devil you) had Chad lurking in the background. (Oh yes, there was a calendar too, one that is going to be stared longingly at for a full year!)

Aernath, yes you are evil -- but amazing. Wow! It floors me how good you are at picking out the perfect glass. If that doesn't look fur-ish, I can't imagine what would!!

I may have to dig out and scan a picture from the Dead Cat Wall -- now don't go "ewwww," we have a wall full of pictures of our former kitties of years past

Yes, it's Emily Pest, the Fuzzy Alarm Clock Extraordinaire, who has attached herself to my shoulders and is draped all the way down my front onto my lap. We got her when she was about 4-5 weeks old, in 1992. She crawled up under my chin, started purring, and has attempted to spend as much time in that position as possible ever since, in spite of weighing a good 9 pounds more than she did then.

What I love is how she even has it all going in the same direction. That's how you know she owns cats. Who else would pay that much attention to detail.

That kitty stained glass is awesome, Perv-chan! It's going to be beautiful when it's done --- but, then, we are spoiled around here. We expect nothing less than perfection when it comes to your wonderful stained glass creations. (Uh ... no pressure or anything ...

And, just to chime in here with the theme of this thread ... Perv-chan is, indeed, THE BEST!! (Even tho I have to keep the bish closet locked when she's around.

You are just wonderful, and this is a great opportunity for me to thank you for all the things you have done for me in the past: Orphen stained glass ... lovely postcards from your beautiful island and/or vacation spots ... a beautiful, thoughtful stained glass ornament (which is hanging over my desk, by the way, 'cuz it's too pretty to put away now that Christmas is over) ... reading the horrible, awful rough drafts for my fics (above and beyond the call of duty for anyone attempting to beta! LOL) ... and, in general, just brightening up the dark spots of the Net with your fun, crazy personality. I luvs 'ya!!!
