Wow, the new rates from USPS has just been posted for 2006.
Priority Mail is now $4.05 for 1 lb fixed instead of $3.85. 8O http://pe.usps.com/2006rate/ratesandfees.htm

Well, at least I have the rest of this week to get those bills out in the mail before the stamps go up. :) And I think I'm going to just switch to the flat rate boxes. Since I don't have a scale and suck at guessing the weight, I figure it'll just be easier for me.
Can you hear this fangirl squee?!

Hmm...

Bad: Postage goes up which sucks :(

Good: At least this should motivate me to get my lazy butt to the post office
to mail the packages I've had sitting around for a few days.

I'm writing you an email right now, so read it before you get off your lazy butt and go to the post office, okay? :)

Silly klet...the postage rate on email isn't going up. There's no reason to
rush to get it sent out.

I decided this weekend to call Hell Girl to help with those places that don't have online bill payment. /arg I'm not really happy at the notion of paying a buck for every couple of envelopes.

... especially since a first class stamp was five cents when I started mailing letters to people. Bah.

(where's that wheelchair emoticon anyway...)

Hey! I'll pay 'em that much if they will stop trying to give me AOL discs and if they buy enough people so I don't have to perform Anime-Expo type waits to pick up a package. :tongue

I've been thinking of doing the same. I have a scale now (Christmas present from the hubby... guess I've been doing a lot of shipping lately) but I'm rather lazy and it is just easier to use the flat rate. It leaves less room for "discussions" from bidders about the postage rate. :P
