Thanks, Kira, for the kind words about the new CCS cel. I was very surprised when I won it on Ebay. I dearly wanted it, since I loved that episode so much, but I expected I didn't have much of a chance at it. I felt very lucky, indeed, to be able to win it, in the end.
kira wrote:your missing the layer for his crystal thingy though. none the less it's still a gorgeous cel.
Yep, I knew the crystal layer was "missing". I was wondering, actually, if, perhaps, that part (the crystal attack) was CG. Does anyone know or have an opinion regarding this?

DT, AO, and Caroline: Thank you all so much for the super kind words regarding my other additions! /lv (SD Sakura and the two Cleao cels). I was especially happy to find two such wonderful cels of Cleao. She is such an irritating character (although she really grew on me by the end of the show), but I love her character design. Sorry for the late reply to you guys. I hadn't realized ya'll had posted such nice compliments, which will teach me better than to just read the last post in a thread! ('cuz I miss out on good stuff that way! LOL) :ghug:

Love your new CCS cel, TC! :love2 We almost became sequence mates on that one. I was offered one like it in a private offer last week.

Thanks, DT! /lv :friends: You know I always love being sequence mates with 'ya! In fact, I can't think of a nicer sequence sib to have. Too bad it seems like your deal didn't work out, though (since you said "almost", I was guessing you decided not to get the cel).

I don't usually do this, but this one was a classic "Sensei" cel, in drama (and in price too) and I'm delighted to be getting it:

Image EEEEEEEEEEEEP!!!!!!!!!!! Image

I probably should read this thread more often; I just realized that I tried to snipe Tex-chan for the "Do I detect a drop of rain?" Yue cel.

What's worse ...

:bawl :bawl :bawl :bawl I wasn't successful!! :bawl :bawl :bawl :bawl

Ah, well ... a confirmation of our mutual good taste ... I will visit it often and lovingly, and try to recognize that eBay handle the next time I see it.

:rollin Oh, my, but your post made me laugh so hard, Sensei! No worries on the sniping thing, though. I don't get too terribly fussed about stuff like that. I figure it's all just part of the game, you know? I still can't believe I managed to get that cel. It was a win that thrilled me beyond words. I just loved that episode, as I think it said so much about Sakura's personality and her basic courage ... not to mention that it showcased a very uncomfortable "growing up" moment. X| Each time I watch that episode, my heart just aches for her --- all the time and effort she put into making the bear, all the joy and pride she felt in, finally, accomplishing it ... and then it turns into this huge (literally) disaster. And, yet, she still manages to pull everything out of the proverbial fire with such grace and charm. You've just gotta love her!

And, considering how lovely your gallery is, I take it as a compliment that you thought the cel was worth doing the "snipe thing".

Love the new Natsuki Sensei! As you know now that you have finally had a chance to watch the series, Natsuki gets into those kind of predicaments regularly!

And Tex-chan, I know I wrote you about recent updates, but I want to make sure you know how much I love that cel! I also enjoyed all the research and the info you wrote and I heartilly agree - Clint Eastwood indeed!

I just posted our newest Bloodlust cel. It is a portrait of Meier-Link that has what my basic art 101 teacher would call a "perfect composition". The eyes are the focus of the whole image with the collar setting off the face. The movement of the tendrils of hair create a frame that leads the eye of the viewer around Meier-Links's face and towards his red eyes, deeper and deeper and.... well, just be glad he's not a "real" vampire!
