So cool, so great, so WOW!

Post by Not Sir Phobos »

About a year ago Marie and I made the decision to have certain cels from her collection framed by a professional, that meant high quality matts, high quality frames, and of course museum glass (EXPENSIVE!!!)

Well Marie called Gordon at the frame shop and had a stop put on all our orders when our financial situation changed recently because we had no more money to sink into framing.

Gordon called Marie last Friday and told her to come in immediately. We both thought he was insulted by us and wanted our projects out of his store. On the contrary, he had all of our projects finished and hanging in the display areas. They were finished as a gift to us. All framing, all matting, MUSEUM GLASS!!!!! Easily $1,000 worth of work.

They only payment he wants is for us to do something nice for someone else.

Gordon just got a couple of customers for life!!!!!

How cool is that? Come on, how cool is that?

Excellent news, that's very kind of him. And I thought there weren't any decent people left in the world. j/k

You'll have to do something pretty special to 'compensate' like don capes and masks and go out fighting surburban crime on the streets or something...

[I'm sure you you're halfway there- fighting crime is the next step]
Out of the gloom a voice said unto me;
"Smile and be happy, things could be worse".
So I smiled and was happy
and behold;
things did get worse...

Whatever gave you that idea? The whole world?

Yes Cloud, the WHOLE world. We see and hear so many acts of selfishness, contempt and dishonour everyday that I tend to think those people make up the majority. It's very sad.

Just remeber that you have to pay it back with interest, lots of it. I figure that you should be done about an hour after you are gone :wink:

That's the way I look at it :D I've been paying back for a long time and loving every minute of it. 8) The gifting is actually better than the gift.
