Sorry if I offended. It's just that when I first saw that fancel on Yahoo Japan I was immediately struck by the similarity of the tilted-head pose and expression between it and that very famous "Young Elvis" photo.

My favorite Kenshin image of yours is this gorgeous genga. Some of my Kenshin genga appear to have been done by the same artist. Now that Genga man is someone I could swoon over....

Yeah, that genga you pointed out is my fave too, it's very dynamic.

I'm selling most of my Kenshin genga now, but that's the only one that will remain with me ^__^

I thought about posting this update on a separate topic but I thought it would be in bad taste. So it's here to be a little more discreet since I'm so overjoyed. ^_^

The, so far, most treasured cel in my collection is here after 90 days of a nightmare that I thought had ended in the worst way possible. But there are some honest people out there in the World and that humbles me.

The once illusive Priss "Konya wa Hurricane" cel:

And an Eva cel of Misato that I was somewhat given a second chance to own since I missed out on a sequence mate. I just love the whole composition of the cel, it drew me in. I also think it shows the side of Misato's character that is the strong-willed fighter:

I need to scan in some more BGC genga also but with lack of cel book space, it's finding where to put them afterwards. Once the books arrive, I plan to spend a weekend getting everything sorted.

It's nice to see that there are good people around. Instead of keeping that awesome cel for themselves, they were good and gave it back.

The other cels you got are great as well, I really like that one of Sylia.

Great that you've been reunited with Priss, Nene. That's some story and I'm sure you've been able to relax since it worked out.

The Sylia cel is also good- a big cel-filler! It's satisfying to have images of the supporting characters but I know that Priss is your #1 girl

Impressive Misato portrait too; you have done well recently!

Awesome stuff Krafty! While I may have the title of jiggle counter, I think your title should be "custodian of records". I'm certain that won't be too hard for you to figure out.

When I've made enough posts to earn a title I may use that here on Beta, 'Perv Kun' was the runner up, as suggested by Kittens a few months ago.
If I'm Custodian, prehaps I should have that disclaimer on the front page of my site- but I won't publish my address details as is nominally done

I've got over 100 more 'jiggle' shots to display so that should keep you happy for a while yet.

Sometimes things just work out. I got this cel (of Selece, Umi's mashin in Magic Knight Rayearth) at Katsucon, got it home, and found it very difficult to mate with a background. Dark bgs made the image of the mashin look too dark; light bgs washed out the swirls of water. Then came my shipment of SMJ winnings, among them a set of three CCS bgs. Among them was one that originally backed a very busy cel of Syaoran's fire magic used against Snowy, but actually it was a very simple blue bg with a lighter "spotlight" on one side. Right-side-up it didn't do much for Selece; but upside-down ... bingo!

Sometimes you can hear cels purr when they contact the right background...

Well against my better judgement I have been hooked into a couple of new series for my collection.

Thanks to Sakura-chan selling me the complete dvd's of CCS , I know feel the need to add a few select cels to our collection. We just got our first off of YJ.

It's from episode 1 as the Clow cards escape. Over time we will pickup a few more but I don't expect to come close to a lot of the CCS collectors like Sensei.

I also picked up a genga from Girls Bravo which is a very fun anime but not for the kids. I does have nudity (but not in this genga) as well as a lot of ecchi humor.

Sensei: That MKR cel is ... WOW! So much motion, and I really love the background you put with it. It is perfect for that cel.

JWR: I love your new Sakura cel! I was so tempted to bid on that one, but did not. I'm really happy to know it will live in such a wonderful gallery --- so expect lots of visits from me!

This is my latest one-cel update ... just posted today: Aya from Weiss Kreuz I love the cel, but I'm still trying to figure out why in the heck the artists used pink for the pole on the stairs! (And, yes ... that is the color it is in the actual background, not a scanner anomaly. Go figure!
