My current manga reading: Yotsuba, Negima, XXXholic, Reservoir Chronicle, and Full Moon wo Sagashite. Sometimes I find it easier to read than to watch DVDs. Manga are more portable :)

DeathNote: Too awesome for words.....couldn't stop, even if I wanted to

FruitBasket: Loved the anime & religiously wait for new scantillations *drool*

This is not an manga, but my friend sent me "In the Grip of Grace" to read. He is really religous & feels that he needs to save my soul or something. We've been friends for so long that out of respect, I indulge him by reading it.....*sigh*

Re-Read my damaged Clover mangas, love this.....though I cry at the state it's in....fruitpunch soaked pages, longed dried & warped looking :l

I was reading a book called Raptor Red. Love dinosaurs and this one really puts you into the mind of a raptor. Written by one of the foremost dinosaur experts alive with PHD from Harvard.

I'm also reading Frank Herbert's Dune---- cool so far.
Keep on keepin' on Dilandau.

I am a monthly subscriber to Nakayoshi, so every month I get my new issue in from Japan.

Currently, my fave monthly entry is "Jigoku Shoujo" . Each story features a whole new cast of caracters. JS generally appears when a great atrocity which will go unpunished occurs(in one issue, a girl brings her dog to a vet only to have the vet starve and experiment on the little puppy until the dog dies..). The victim logs into the JS website and within 24 hours, JS will find out who the real culprit is, and take whatever measures she deems fit to occur(generally meaning death).

There are some other gems in the current line-up including "Kilala Princess"(think of a female version of Kingdom Hearts) and "Kitchen Princess". Both titles are quite well done.

Well, I checked Tokyopop again just to make sure, and there is no preview for Volume 4. I really liked it, too. :(

I don't think I want to type out the list of all the series that I'm currently
reading any more than anyone else wants to read it /swt

So instead, I'll do a best of list:

- Deathnote: Very interesting and suspenseful storyline. Definitely different
and a cool idea.

- Excel Saga: I had a bit of a problem getting into it at first because it's so
different from the anime which I loved. But, I got over that and found that
the manga has a great charm of its own.

- Negima: I'm really surprised by how much I'm liking this. I didn't care for
the manga version of Love Hina, so I wasn't expecting to enjoy this as much
as I have been.

- Tsukihime: It follows the anime very closely in general, but adds so
much more detail into the storyline that enhances it. Made something that
I liked even better, so enjoying it.

- Yotsuba: Pee in your pants funny. 'Nuff said.

From doing some searches, it's an unfinished work...only the three volumes
that have been translated so far have been released in Japan, so you've got
a LONG wait.

Btw, in case you didn't know, there's also an anime version that's currently
running in Japan.
