I love reading the descriptions you have with your cels, Ralphy. You have a marvelous way of combining the text directly from the scene with your own words to re-create the feeling and atmosphere of your cel. The description with this cel almost moves me to tears. (The scene actually did, of course.

I'm tempted by the Shenlong pan, which is glorious ... "if you only owned one mecha cel" ... yep, right on.

I resisted the urge to pick a cel from Big O or Samurai Champloo since that would be just SO predictable of me!

But I had a hard time narrowing down my choices in your lovely gallery (which has undergone another wonderful facelift since I was there last!!) to just one choice. Your pan shot of Legato Bluesummers narrowly lost out to this divinely perfect cel of Spike.... eyes gleaming, determined look on his face, gun drawn... MAN I love this shot!!
