Holy Mother of Pearl! Naruto sketches $8000??

OK, these Naruto sketches are so far going for $8000. Can anyone tell me WHY they went for $8000 (805,100JPY)? Is there something that 2 people know about that I have no clue? Or is this some kind of hoax?

The crazy thing is that for it to go that high there's obviously more than one person willing to pay around that much!

A high bid doesn't necessarily means that someone actually pays the bid amount, just look at all those "fun" bidders on ebay and it's so much easier to make fake accounts on Mandarake and no one will ever know if the transaction was successfull because there are no infos about bidders or ratings.

Just in case it was a serious bid then my opinion is....rotfl
