Actually, I cheated on the background. I made it in Photoshop from a screencap of the scene. It is just one of those cels ... you know, the kind that only looks "at home" on one background. I tried, but I could not find a substitute that I liked as well, so I pulled out my (less than adequate) PS skills. (LOL) One day, I hope to get a custom background painted for it ... if I'm a lucky little cel addict.

I don't post my new cels very often. I collect from such a strange mix of shows, that well...

But, the latest cel -- it's one of those I never dared to put on my RS wishlist (though it had been on my dreamlist on my website way back when).

Thank you, Cidsa. I've been lucky to find a few cels of Clow that I could afford.

That is a [shadow=white][glow=violet]STUNNING[/glow][/shadow] Yue cel you have in your gallery! I don't know for sure, but I think the SC 218 is the scene the cel is from. A1 cels do seem to be key. Was the cel number on the sketch circled? If so, it is key. I think the red circles were put on the sketch by the artist to remind the person who painted the cel to pay attention to the lines or the colors (so they didn't put his eyebrow color on the piece of hair over his eyebrow, for example).

Yeah, the number on the sketch is circled, so I'm pretty sure it is a key. I've seen some sequence mates (I'm pretty sure duotrouble has one) and I think Yue is turning his head to the right (or left if it photographs backwards, I forget how that all works) and this one is almost straight on.

Anyways, thank you for the compliment. I really love that cel, I'm going to frame it as soon as I can get the necessary materials :3

Ok , I found 2 nice AMG OVA cels as a set on YJ.

This one is to me one of the best images of Belldandy to appear in the OVA.

jwr, i love part of the set you found. the keiichi doesnt come up. it's linked wrong. the belldandy i'll agree with you on, since that's the only cel i've seen of her with her hair down.

tex-chan, sugoi! i love the weib opening. yours openings make mine look blah but i love the two i have.
the ccs cel i love, that was one of my favorite scenes. although i wanted them to do more in that scene.*whistles*
i love the hotori(sp?)closeup. the eyes on him*drool*
