Yep. I saw the ending price. I was the "runner-up" bidder. *sigh*

But, it is going to a really fabulous gallery, so that is a good thing.

I did give it my "all", so to speak ... so that makes me feel better about losing. It sounds weird to say it, but at least I put up a decent fight. *nervous laugh*

Plus, he is going to a collector I like a lot and really admire ... and, yes, I believe he will be available for drooling, although it might take a couple of months or so.

I'm already looking forward to stalk ... *ahem* I mean ... seeing him in his new home.

I didn't know you were bidding. I only mentioned the ending price because I was expecting it to go much higher. Well, at least you know where you can stalk.

I wasn't going to try for it, as I was trying very hard to stay in "be (sort of) good" mode. But, I got a special dispensation from my hubby.

Oh well ... win some, lose some. The nature of the beast in this wacky hobby.

Heh. It would have gone higher, had I had the extra cash.

But, yeah ... I'll be a frequent visitor when it is permanently installed in its new home.

On the super huge plus side, I was bummed over losing, so my hubby let me console myself with the purchase of a cel of D from VHD: Bloodlust. So ... yeah ... Tex-chan is ... HAPPEH! *silly grin*

This painting truly is incredible. You would not believe how beautiful his eyes are. They almost seem to glow, and they are just that "perfect" shade of green. *sigh* Plus, I love the colors and the background Crystal chose for this painting. *sighs again*

I don't think I could love him more.

Well, if Yohji was real, then, yeah ... I could love him more. But, he's not, so I don't have to worry about that. *grins*

Ahhh, now there's some Yohji loveliness!! He's gorgeous. Good job, Crystal... and congrats, texxi! (But maybe poor Crystal doesn't know how to paint buttons... cuz all her characters have their shirts unbuttoned! *gigglegigglegiggle*) I do wish I could see those eyes up close... that is a stunning shade of green there!
