Marcus is still out there, alive, and pretty much as active as ever. Good chance you will see him at Otakon this year if you make it.

He has at least 3 different e-mail addresses, and I don't know which he monitors with higher regularity. I do know that he stays really busy, and may not have the time to reply quickly, even if it an e-mail he checks regularly. He has posted on anime-beta under the Katsucon topic, so you could also try to PM him, but I don't know that he checks here any more often than he would check the e-mail from rubberslug page or his normal home page.
